New Saint Joseph Catholic School Students

New Student Requirements

An applicant for Saint Joseph Catholic School 4 year-old kindergarten (4K) must be four years of age on or before September 1st.
- Copy of official state birth certificate
- South Carolina certificate of immunization (No religious exemptions per Diocesan policy. Medical exemptions must be approved by the Diocese.)
- Children enrolled in 4K-6th grade should present a South Carolina Certification of Immunization, DPH 4024, or, Military Certification of South Carolina School and Childcare Immunization Requirement, DPH 4375. Please see link for more information of acceptable certificates of immunization.
- Submit the Prospective Student Evaluation forms along with application. Must be completed by the current school your child is enrolled in and must be returned directly to our office for consideration for enrollment. It should not be given back to the parents for submission. Please find your copy for the appropriate grade(s) you are applying for: K4-1st & 2nd-6th.
- Most recent achievement test and report card (grades 2-6)
School Acceptance Order
After all application requirements have been completed and the application has been reviewed by the Admissions Office, students are accepted into Saint Joseph Catholic School in this order:

Siblings of students currently attending Saint Joseph Catholic School

Children of registered and regular contributing parishioners of Saint Joseph Parish

Children of registered and regular contributing parishioners of neighboring Catholic parishes
-
Children of non-Catholic families.
